Development Manager
This is an exciting opportunity to join Opera Queensland at a time of new leadership and to participate at a senior level in the development and implementation of a new strategic vision for the company. Working as a member of the senior management team, you will build on the platform provided by State and Commonwealth funding to develop and nurture the company’s corporate and philanthropic partnerships.
Opera Queensland is seeking to redefine its leadership role in the development of the artform and its artists, and establish an energetic, sustainable engagement with its community. You will source other strategic relationships to sustain the company’s innovative approach to programming and delivery throughout the state. You will manage all development and fundraising activities including sponsorship, partnership, individual giving, bequests, The Opera Queensland Foundation, other fundraising programs and events.
Reporting directly to the General Manager and working closely with the Artistic Director, you will have had a proven track record in a similar or related role and possess outstanding interpersonal, organisational and communication skills.
