Queensland composer's work stage for the first time in his home state
Richard Mills’ new operatic work, The Love of the Nightingale makes its Queensland première on 13 July at the Playhouse, QPAC (for three performances). It will mark the first time that an opera by the Toowoomba-born composer has been staged in his home state.

Moving Opera hits the road!
Opera Queensland's Moving Opera! program commences next week with the first workshop scheduled for Monday, 19 February at Stuartholme School. From February through to August, the Moving Opera! team will present 12 weeks of workshops with 19 secondary schools.
