Hansel & Gretel – Set to enchant children in Queensland and Northern New South Wales
Rehearsals are underway for the 2008 season of Opera Queensland’s chamber opera Hansel & Gretel with the five-member ensemble priming themselves to entertain some 18,000 primary school students over the coming months.

Opera Queensland takes the big top to regional Queensland centres
7 to 23 August, 2008. Eight-centre Queensland tour.
Following its Brisbane season, Opera Queensland’s fully staged production of Mozart’s The Magic Flute will embark on an eight-centre tour of regional Queensland with performances on the Gold Coast, in Toowoomba, Maryborough, Rockhampton, Mackay, Ayr, Townsville and Cairns. It will be one of the largest productions presented throughout the state.
