The Barber of Seville

This production is new to Queensland. Created by designer Leon Krasenstein and directed by John Milson, this bold interpretation of Rossini’s masterpiece boasts a kaleidoscopic world inspired by the art deco designs of famed Spanish architect Antonio Gaudi.

Barker, Coleman-Wright and Lane in Recital

Cheryl Barker and Peter Coleman-Wright have stellar operatic careers spanning the globe. Opera Queensland takes the big top to regional Queensland centres
7 to 23 August, 2008. Eight-centre Queensland tour.
Following its Brisbane season, Opera Queensland’s fully staged production of Mozart’s The Magic Flute will embark on an eight-centre tour of regional Queensland with performances on the Gold Coast, in Toowoomba, Maryborough, Rockhampton, Mackay, Ayr, Townsville and Cairns. It will be one of the largest productions presented throughout the state.
